In the future, it has been decided that men are too violent, cunning and barbaric to be allowed their own free will. Thus all male actions are overseen by a female 'Register' whom is in charge of keeping the male in line.But when a giant ring that has been in orbit around the Earth fires on the planet, war becomes eminent, and a special group are assigned to destroying the alien menace.
Using a special spacecraft with a giant robot called a "Shaft", our group must overcome their differences, and learn to pilot the glitch-filled, and prototype Shaft software. But during this time, could the men onboard have their own plans for the ship and the crew?
