Ikkitousen's story base is that the souls of the RoTK warriors are captured into teardrop talismans worn as earrings, also known as Magatama. People wearing these magatamas are known as Warriors and are allowed to fight each other. These talismans have fallen into the hands of schools and the schools have formed up into factions like the kingdoms of RoTK. Gender plays no part in determing the owner of these Magatamas. Funny thing is all current owners are named exactly as the names of the trapped souls. Gender mixups anyone?Episode :

The lead female is one Sonsaku Hakufu (Chinese : Sun Ce, founder of Wu Kingdom in RoTK). Her childhood friend Syuyu Koukin (aka Zhou Yu) has been tasked to be her bodyguard by her mother (who still butts in).
