Continuing at the point where the series left off, this OVA focuses on the story arc of Kurapica taking revenge on the Genei Ryodan for the murder of his tribe.At the end of the series, we see Hisoka sending a text message to Kurapica, telling him that the Genei Ryodan are still alive - at the end of the series, the dead bodies of the Ryodan were found scattered around York Shin City.Gon and the others are desperate to help Kurapica achieve his goal, as they are friends and also because they fear he will lose his sense of humanity if he continues to pursue them on his own...
