Samatarou is the son of a god and goddess. His sisters are also godesses and lastly, he has an angel watching over him (his supposed friend, named Tenko). Soon to become a god himself, his father directs him to study in the human world. Knowing why it's important to live, and what humans value, will help in becoming a great god. One day, a new transfer student enters the school where Samatarou and Tenko attend. The transfer student turns out to be a beautiful young girl, and Samatarou immediately falls in love.
