A young high school student (name wasn't said in the first ep?) keeps having the same terrible dream. His childhood friend lifeless in his arms and the world around him in ruins.
He awakens from these dreams just to find himself in what seems like yet another dream. Strange creatures, shadows running around by themselves, and different dimensions.
The question is: is this all a dream? Or is it a reality that only he can see?
